Alison Larard
BAgEcon, MBA, GAICD, 2018 Nuffield Scholar.
A beef business specialist with a family interest in Limousin cattle, Alison’s career spans finance, agricultural economics, succession planning and beef extension. She is a co-founder of the ABL Program, focussed on building and empowering beef industry leadership. Alison was CEO of Southern Gulf NRM in 2024, Qld Deputy Chair Nuffield Australia (2022-2023) and was on the RFCSNQ PMC (2016-2020).

Elisha Parker
Elisha is a lawyer, regional advocate and co-founder of Cattlesales Pty Ltd. She is a Vice Chair of Beef Australia. Elisha was the 2020 Queensland Agrifutures Rural Women’s Award winner. She has held non executive director roles with NBN and AgForce Queensland’s Cattle Board.
Company Secretary
Kasmin has more than 25 years’ experience across business operations, governance, administration, project work and executive-level support. She brings a calm, practical approach to coordinating priorities, strengthening systems, supporting sound governance and creating the structure needed for people and organisations to function well.
Executive Support OfficerKasmin Brotherton
Emily is a beef extension officer with Queensland’s Department of Primary Industries. She is the northern coordinator of the Advancing Beef Leaders Program, and is herself program alum. Emily is an advocate for improving production, profitability, and sustainability of the northern beef industry. Based in North Queensland, she works closely with northern producers, providing advice and on-property support for best practice management.
Program ManagerEmily Corbett
Emma is senior agribusiness development officer with Queensland’s Department of Primary Industries. She is an experienced member of the ABL program delivery team, and facilitates the ‘Industry Spheres of Influence’ module. She has previously been a member of the NFF’s Young Farmers’ Council, and co-president of AgForce Queensland’s Young Producers Council. She is also an alum of the ABL Program.

Madie Hamilton
Madie is the Founder and Director of AgCentric, a consultancy supporting agribusinesses and rural organisations to turn strategy into practical outcomes. She brings a strong track record in program delivery, stakeholder engagement and capability development. Madie has held senior roles with the Australian Lot Feeders’ Association and Syngenta, and has led national events, leadership programs and industry initiatives. She works closely with teams to build confidence, strengthen connections and deliver meaningful outcomes across the sector.
Program Facilitator/Events CoordinatorTim is a technical officer, Tropical Beef Technology Services, at the Agricultural Business Research Institute. Through the Future Farmers Network, the Tim Emery Bursary was established to honour Tim’s contribution to the beef industry and his commitment to supporting young people to build successful, sustainable careers in agriculture.
South West Coordinator Tim Emery
Kylie is a beef extension officer with Queensland’s Department of Primary Industries. She’s a committee member of Australian Association of Animal Sciences and MLA’s goat research development and adoption committee. Kylie is passionate about working with graziers in Northern Australia to help them continue to be productive, profitable and sustainable. She loves her work and believes it's a privilege to be invited into people's homes and paddocks.

Claire is a seasoned writer, podcast host and versatile communications specialist with a talent for creating impactful, compelling content. She has worked in print and online media, not-for-profit organisations and for a range of corporate clients. As a journalist, she has covered agriculture, environment, business and financial markets. As a communications consultant based in Australia and South East Asia, she has written for specialist fields including infrastructure, arts, science, and leadership. Her passion is bringing to life the impact of those who are making the fabric of rural Australia stronger.

Sally Murfet
Sally Murfet is a nationally recognised people and culture consultant with a strong commitment to Australia’s farming and agribusiness sectors. With more than 25 years of hands-on experience across on-farm operations and agribusiness organisations, she brings a practical understanding of what drives performance from paddock to boardroom. Through her consultancy, Inspire AG, Sally works with both family-owned and corporate farming businesses to strengthen capability and deliver measurable results. Her expertise includes leadership development, team effectiveness and succession planning. A Certified Practising Member of AHRI and accredited DISC practitioner, Sally combines strategic insight with practical tools to build high-performing teams.
