United by their belief in raising farmer mental health awareness, a Southern cohort group produced “A Night Off The Farm” - an opportunity for farmers to take a well-deserved break and connect with neighbours and friends. The dinner, with guest speakers and a live auction, was made possible by the organisers initiating a "Christmas Advent Raffle," where local businesses generously donated prizes.

On March 8th, 2024, "A Night Off The Farm" welcomed guests from across the Maranoa region to enjoy a special evening featuring inspirational speakers Warren Davies and Sam Fryer who shared personal journeys and insights into mental health. Their courage and honesty left a profound impact on attendees, emphasising the importance of community support in addressing mental health challenges.

The success of "A Night Off The Farm" was made possible by the support of local businesses and sponsors. Their contributions, including auction items and financial donations, exceeded expectations, culminating in a remarkable fundraising total of $14,000. These funds, donated to mental well-being service TIACS, will provide over 116 hours of essential mental health counselling.
