Raymond Stacey

Hello, I’m Raymond Stacey.

With my wife Jeanette, I have had 30 years of owning and managing grazing businesses on family properties in North and North West Qld. I am passionate about “skilled fulfilled people managing profitable enterprises on healthy landscapes”. Regenerating country with profitable grazing has always been a major management focus.

As a family we have been actively involved in community organisations and I have done time in local and regional agro-politics.

Our two children are active in agriculture, Louis in Alberta and Rebecca in Victoria. A favourite pastime is to visit with them and to ride high snowy country in the Rocky Mountain foothills.

While grazing fulltime I have also delivered training in cattle and property management to certificate students as an instructor with Rural Industry Training and Extension, worked as a facilitator with Dalrymple Landcare and have previously been an associate consultant and coach with Resource Consulting Services. Along the way I completed my Master of Rangeland Management through University of Qld in 2014.

We live, work and graze from Southbrook on the Eastern Darling Downs and I continue my RCS advisory and support role working with clients across the rangelands.
